GHANA AND NIGERIAN AIR FORCES REINFORCE BILATERAL TIES THROUGH TRAINING
The longstanding partnership between the Ghana Air Force and the Nigerian Air Force continues to grow through professional military education and capacity building.
As a testament to this collaboration, twenty officers from the Ghana Armed Forces graduated from the six-month Initial Personnel and Administrative Management Officers' Course 32/2026 at the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFI). The graduates comprised 18 officers from the Ghana Air Force and two from the Ghana Navy.

The graduation ceremony, held on 3 July 2026, underscored the strong defence relations between Ghana and Nigeria, as well as their shared commitment to professional military education, capacity building and regional security cooperation.

The officers distinguished themselves during the course, with Flying Officer L. Bosompim emerging as the Overall Best Student. Flying Officer K.T. Sondem placed second overall and also received the Best Service Paper Award, while Flying Officer A.K. Buadu secured third position overall.

Other award recipients were Flight Lieutenant F.O. Osei, who received the Leadership Award, Sub-Lieutenant G. Togodui, who won both the Best Short Talk and Presentation Award and the Discipline and Well-Behaved Student Award. Flying Officer S.P. Awuku was named Most Improved Student while Flight Lieutenant S. Mashood received the Most Resourceful Student Award.

The Ghana Air Force congratulates the graduands on their outstanding achievement and commends the Nigerian Air Force for its continued support in strengthening professional military training, capacity building and regional defence collaboration.
